You Don’t Know, What You Don’t Know
First of all, this may not be as simple as I would like it to be. Second of all, if you are not a Christian, stop reading this because you are not going to get it. Third of all, if you are a legalistic Christian, stop reading this because you might want to tar and feather me for blasphemy after reading it. Okay, the remaining 10 of you, let’s talk.
Being a Spirit filled Christian is your identity, but if you became a Christian later in life, you remember your old identity. You remember how you treated other people, how you treated yourself and how you treated God. You know that you would not and could not ever choose to go back to that old identity. You realize that having the Holy Spirit in you, is how we are all created to be. You have learned that having the Holy Spirit in you is not an option and is the only way that you could have become a better you. I think all 10 of you likely agree with what I have said so far. Now start warming up the tar, because you might truly object to the correlation I am about to draw. Your nutrition is the same thing.
You do not know how bad you are truly feeling, until you stop feeling bad. Just like you could not see your sin clearly before you became a Christian, you truly do not know how much better you could feel by properly fueling your body. Just like Christianity, I can not prove it to you, until you take that step and try it yourself. By trying it, I am saying give it a good 60 to 90 days. This is another part of my correlation, I can not prove to you that God exists or that you will become a better person if you accept Christ. For you to truly understand, you have to experience it yourself. You have to take that step of faith.*
Okay I have to cut this short. The peasants are revolting at my gate and I am not sure if the tar I smell is the neighbor putting on a new roof or my fellow brother’s in Christ wanting to correct the errors of my ways.
If you are feeling slow, feeling lifeless, achy in the morning or having poor sleep, take that step of faith and call or email Buffy or me. I am not making a correlation between me and Christ, I am not that arrogant. But what I am saying is this. If you have come to trust my integrity, my intelligence or my judgement then trust me with this. It will make a difference in your life.*
If you have not accepted Christ as your Savior, please trust me with that too. He will never let you down and He is truly worth having faith in. Here is a portion of my testimony, since you have read this so far, perhaps Christ is reaching out to you at this moment.
Finally, I am leaving you with a graphic to help you to understand how difficult it is to eat healthy today. The ground has been cursed since the days of Adam and we have made things worse ever since. You need help with your nutrition, even if you eat healthy already.
